Sony Ericsson XPERIA X1

At the Mobile World Congress 2008 in Barcelona the Sony Ericsson Company announced about the desire to release spartphones on the basis of the Windows Mobile operational systems. The first device of this kind will appear on sale by the end of the year. The stand of the world's largest mobile phone developer includes besides the first Windows smartphone six more models among which there are two phones with sensor displays, new model of the Walkman series with 8Gb built in memory, dust protected camera phone. This article will be devoted to the first smartphone of the company based on Windows Mobile, XPERIA X1.

The new Sony Ericsson mobile line XPERIA will include models focused on the multimedia functions and offering wide possibilities for Internet communications. The first representative of the series, XPERIA X1 with its outstanding technical features proves that the company is flexible enough to work with the growing demands of the users for the mobile device functions. Sony Ericsson designers also were a success – the novelty has a nice appearance with the new “panel” interface XPERIA.
